The annual Discover New England Summit 2026 took place in beautiful Burlington, Vermont, on 14 and 15 April, and Woodstock Communications was privileged to lead the Irish trade delegation.
The Irish delegation included representatives from some of the country’s top travel agencies and tour operators, including American Holidays, Tour America and Best4Travel.
The Summit was a great opportunity for representatives from the Irish travel trade to connect with tourism bodies, attractions and businesses from across New England, with a view to developing new products for the Irish market.
Bookending the Summit were two incredible FAM trips. The first kicked off with time in the vibrant city of Boston before heading north to Vermont and the towns of Woodstock, Stowe and Burlington.
The post-Summit FAM trip headed east to the state of Maine and took in the towns of Kennebunk, Portland and Biddeford.
The FAM trips were a an opportunity for representatives from the Irish travel trade to experience all that New England has to offer, including rich history and culture, awesome outdoor activities and the stunning food scene.
